"Antes
que se pierda" es la expresión que refleja nuestro sentimiento
al contemplar algunos ph'ullos y chuccos. Estas prendas complemento del
atuendo femenino daban, a quién las llevaba, elegancia y distinción.
Un paralelo con la vesti-menta introducida, podríamos encon-trarlo
en el châll francés, la mantilla española, el mantón
criollo. Lamenta-blemente, cada vez se usa menos o se los remplaza con
prendas que pasan desapercibidas en el montón.
La Casa del Corregidor se complace en entregar,
para su disfrute, esta muestra de arte textil, que como ya es habitual,
no hubiera podido realizarse sin el apoyo decisivo y comprometido de Rubén
Colquehuanca, en la colección y selección de los ejemplares
para la exposición, de Pascual Passano, en la preparación
del material para la muestra y Alexandra Talavera en la traducción
de esta presentación. |
